Back to Nevermore Academy: Wednesday Season Two 

After being expelled from yet another school, Wednesday Addams is sent by her parents to Nevermore Academy, the school where they fell in love.

At Nevermore, Wednesday finds new friendships, romantic entanglement, and a supernatural mystery of epic proportions, with great implications for Wednesday’s family and her world. 

At the end of the season, all loose ends are tied up as Wednesday saves the day and the school… or so she thinks. 

Showrunners and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have said that “this season, Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore.”

Millar adds that Wednesday “goes into this season thinking she knows Nevermore. It’s the first time she’s returned to a school willingly.

But as soon as she gets back, nothing happens that she’s expecting. She thinks she’s going to be in control, that she knows where all the bodies are buried, and she doesn’t.”

The entire Addams family will have larger roles in season two as, much to Wednesday’s horror, the line between her school and family lives is not only blurred but destroyed. “Your family at school is the worst thing possible, isn’t it?” asks director and executive producer Tim Burton

 This season will also feature a strong supporting cast of both returning and new characters, and new challenges and obstacles Wednesday must overcome. 

Jenna Ortega will, obviously, be reprising her role as the leading lady Wednesday Addams, and is also a producer on this season!

Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Victor Dorobantu, and Hunter Doohan will return as Enid, Bianca, Eugene, Ajax, Thing, and Tyler, respectively. 

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordonez will move from guest stars to main cast members as the rest of the Addams family and Fred Armisen will return as a guest star in the role of Uncle Fester. 

Some exciting new faces will also be joining the cast. Including, but not limited to, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort and Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood!

Part one of Wednesday season two will be available to stream on Netflix on August 6th! For the rest of the season, viewers will have to wait a little longer until part two of the season is available starting September 3rd.
