Cannibalism is perhaps the ultimate cultural taboo. Most sane people have never considered eating another human being, but while there are certainly some situations in which eating another person is the only way to survive, there are other, more disturbing tales of when a person goes cannibal for no reason other than to enjoy the delicacy of human flesh.
